breaking the ice

This Winter is almost non existant here in northren Germany. At least the temperatures of the last nights produced a thin layer of ice on my lake. Some fun playing "ice breaker" with the canoe and slicing the ice surface of the lake into two parts, from which one part later drifted away, moved by wind.
